What is TamaNeko™?

TamaNeko, meaning "Egg Cat" in Japanese, is a created as a virtual pet to Tamarei. All TamaNekos come in eggs at first, and depending on how the egg is taken care of and the personality of the owner, a kitten is hatched after 2 months. The kitten will then stay in its shell for another 3 months before breaking out as an independent being. By this time, the TamaNeko's personality is set and will be able to take care of itself.

What's a TamaNeko for?

They're for fun, duh. However, in the upcoming game where people will be able to adopt TamaNekos, TamaNekos will have different uses. Similar to Neopets, but smaller in scale and for catlovers.

It takes a year before TamaNekos become adult cats and there will be three types: Wild, Domestic and Freak.
Wild TamaNekos are fighters. They take on other animals when in danger or challenged. These cats are fierce protectors of their owners, they'll even attack debt collectors!
Domestic TamaNekos, on the other hand, become caretakers of the owner's household aka maids. These cats are good helpers and can even cook!
Freak TamaNekos are somewhat rare. They do not follow their owners' personalities and become rebellious. Some are lazy while others have attitude problems. Whether they're useful or not it's still unknown.

How do I get one?

You can adopt a TamaNeko egg from the shop, which will be coming soon along with the growth system and game. Please wait for new updates.
